Researches On Preserving And Utilize Of History And Culture Preservation District In Kuan Xiang Zi And Zai Xiang Zi Of CHENGDU

While modern society is developing, the metabolism of urban space is inevitable. But those districts, areas and buildings which contain historical culture background are the history background which makes us get familiar with the city and the segments of previous society. They form the living condition including traditional urban space and sites provide us a strong sense of belonging. At the same time, they are also the visual symbol of previous system, religion, axiology and deportment of a city. They not only represent continuity and identity between generations, but also deliver the codes of creating and modifying urban culture and sostenuto hold the order of human long-term development. Traditional history and culture reserve not only represent Chengdu city's culture quality which incarnate Chengdu's value and pneuma but also are the symbol sites recognized by society and represent the history position of Chengdu's development, and are the emotion containers of human beings who identify with this city. It is important to enhance the integrated competition strength of Chengdu by improving its cultural characteristic and quality and establishing its cultural character. As one of the twenty-four historical culture cities which are the first part of cities approved in China, Chengdu is now facing an important project that how to protect and utilize Chengdu's cultural reserve.Based on adequate of field survey, mapping and research, this paper concludes the cause of formation, the whole character and the style trait within this specific area range of Chengdu city. Through material example research, author concluded idea and countermeasure of protection, development and use in allusion to two of Chengdu's History and Culture Preservation Districts (Kuan Xiangzi, Zai Xiangzi). Author considers that in this issue, we should absorb history culture, guide by sustainable developing, and try to tie in the constructing, culture and nature. The purpose that we are chasing is to make the preservation districts materialize the regional trait, society trait, culture trait and economic trait, to make the preservation districts satisfy to way of living, working and relaxing, to make the preservation districts on the way of tieing in the nature, society and economic technologies.Most of cities in China face the problem of city-alteration. History and Culture Preservation District is a specific branch of city-alteration. Especially the cities like Chengdu, which have a long history and lots of cultural relic and historic site (exNanjing); there is no effective ripe solution for them. In this situation, the purpose of this program is to put forward a protection and development solution for Chengdu History and Culture Preservation Districts. For one hand, it has important praxis meaning; for the other hand, it provides use for reference for other History and Culture Preservation Districts.
