Study On Manufacturing Enterprises' Information Management System And Its Key Technologies

Undoubtedly speaking, the technical issue is no more the only factor to impact the enterprise information at this moment. As a matter of fact, experts from both school and enterprise have pointed out that the differences of application result of IT do not only depend on the advancement of technology, but still result from the level of IT management and control. Therefore, during a long period, it is natural to see that information management has become a hard bottleneck in the development of enterprise information in our country, especially in manufacturing enterprises, for their complicated business process and abundant information contents. It is quite difficult to enforce all-round control to the manufacturing enterprise information. And we still lack of a good way to manage and control it.Firstly, This paper borrowed the ideas and experiences from enterprise information field, mixing with ISO9000:2000 Quality Management System theory, and proposes the innovative notion for manufacturing enterprises'Information Management System(IMS) from the system's angle. And this proposal is made according to the characteristics and procedures of manufacturing enterprise information. The so-called Information Management System means that we put manufacturing enterprises as researching background, and put enterprise information and its related activities as objects of study, so as to obtain a standardized management system to direct, manage and control the processes and activities of enterprise information. The basic idea is that we followed the basic principle of ISO9000: 2000 Quality Management System theory, and built a standardized Information Management System and its implement method, which is supposed to reduce the chaotic procedures in enterprise information and control the enterprise information activities efficiently.Then, the key technologies of Information Management System was described and discussed. The key technologies were put forward based on the operational model of Information Management System. Three key technologies were studied[0], namely IMS planning, IMS operation and IMS comprehensive evaluation. And this three technologies have those following specific points, IMS element analysis, IMS process identify, IMS file establish, IMS operation mechanism and its'key points, IMS operation control method, and comprehensive evaluation towards IMS and so on. After this research of key technologies of Information Management System, we can say that the unity of strategy and tactics of Information Management System has been realized at last.Manufacturing enterprises'Information Management System offered us a systematic management methodology. And with the standardized operation mechanism, we can make all-round direction, management and control towards enterprise information, and this is quite favorable for raising the success rate of the implementation of enterprise information.
