Research On Urban Design Methods In Control And Guide Architectural Forms

At present, during the fast development of urbanization in our country, a lot of constructing activities destroying urban space morphology have appeared. From the perspective of urban design, it is important for the construction of buildings to standardize and determine its status and function in building massing. The practice of urban construction at home and abroad indicate that the guideline of modern urban design is an effective way to guide and control urban building forms in order to provide operation instruction for the urban construction to assist and promote the realization of the intent of plan and design.Through guiding and controlling the urban building massing design and single buildings design, the construction and design project should be suitable to the surrounding environment. The thesis discusses that in the design of urban space morphology, which guiding and controlling way would make building forms fine visual effect, harmonize with natural and artificial elements in surrounding urban space public areas and reflect the urban historical tradition and local culture in a proper way.Urban design and control process is also the process to create urban image, which manages the outward appearance of buildings to portray good construction environment. This process needs to research and analyze the area identifying features of urban building massing, the formation of streets boundary and open space boundary and the contour order of the entire construction and to put forward urban design requirements in the aspects of scale, function, style, type, elevation, material, decoration and so on to play a positive role in urban space morphology influenced by the guidance of architectural design.From urban design, controlling and guiding single buildings design has positive, practical and actual meaning. Through the practice of the guideline of Xiangluowan business district in Tianjin Binhai new area, in the aspects of setting up harmonious relationships in building massing, elegant skyline view from river and human scale public space and so on, some specific guiding methods will be proposed to provide the operation instruction for the development of the new district.
