With the sustained growth of world economy and improvements of people living standards,energy and environmental problems become more serious. Developing new energy automobile is major R&D tasks of most auto makers; meanwhile,hybrid electrical vehicle(HEV) in new energy automobile field is one of the current research focuses.Toyota and some other large companies already have a series production of HEV.The major advantage of HEV is energy-saving and environment-friendly,also close to traditional car's power.Based on this idea,the author research the automatic transmission in hybrid electric system in this paper.The shortcoming of traditional hydraulic automatic transmission is less efficient of transmission provided by hydraulic torque converter,and directly effect on vehicle economic performance when in HEV.In this thesis,through researching characteristics of automatic transmission,master its mechanical structure,especially the transmission way of planetary gear mechanism,familiar with control institution of electrical-control hydraulic mechanism and control theory of hydraulic,also learn the control mechanism and operation principle of transmission box's sensor and magnetic valve.Analyze the shift schedule established way of automatic transmission.Through the operation characteristics curve test of TU5JP/K MPI engine and direct torque control(DTC) AC motor,establish the shift schedule of this planetary gear transmission.And based on MATLAB/SIMULINK,establish the dynamics module of driver,engine,AC motor,clutch,wheels and car body,also found the module of planetary gearing mechanical transmission shift process controlling.Manage the feasibility analysis on application of planetary gearing mechanical transmission in hybrid electric system,compared to traditional hydraulic automatic transmission on control institution,analyze the process of shifting, establish special control strategy for this research.During simulation test,we press the pedal from 0%to 100%.When system is on a low speed period it is driven by motor alone,after reaching special speed driven by engine.Meanwhile,add the throttle threshold to 100%quickly,observe the process of automatic transmission's shifting and finish the simulation research of transmission's shifting.In this thesis,the author design a control strategy of planetary gearing mechanical transmission shifting,the innovation point is motor active synchronizing when shifting.The details as below,after the transmission mechanism get into torque phase,make the motor turn into motor generating mode, increase electrical-generation torque,absorb the engine torque to eliminate the input torque of transmission to nearly zero,when in inertia phase,the motor adjust the input speed of transmission to get active synchronizing and eliminate shifting crash. From the result of simulation,we can see that the system experience a smooth shifting,meet the improvement and control requirement of transmission.
