Human errors, especially occurring during constructions, are recognized as the main cause of construction quality involving structural failure. This thesis is aimed to study the techniques about analysis and assessment human errors during construction of steel structures, including human error mechanism analysis, factors influencing human errors identification and grey correlation analysis, human reliability evaluation. In the first,an evolution model of human errors is established on the basis of cognition and organization accident.According to the model, the models and factors of errors are present. And the human errors research method based on the factors is introduced. After collecting the human errors dates on the steel construction spots, eight critical factors are confirmed by the retrospect analysis and experts consultation. These factors are human quality,human-machine interface and operation support, disciplines, training, work circumstance, work loan, workers collaboration, organization management. And in this way, human errors of some steel structure pant are counted and analyzed by the Gray correlation theory. The result shows that the main two factors of human errors are organization management and training. To evaluate the human errors of construction enterprises,a comprehensive human reliability three grades assessment model on the steel structure construction is established based on Fuzzy comprehensive theory, gray system theory, and analytical hierarchy process. At last,an example is used to prove the model feasible.
