Studies On The Historical Buildings Of Huayang Ancient Town, Yangxian

Hua yang ancient town is located in Hanzhong Shaanxi province.It situated at the vally of the ancient tangluo road which conneced Chuan-Shan and southweast area.It undertakes the tasks of cultural exchanging of Qin and Shu.Hua yang was prospered by ancient town,once became as a key of military and a heavy comosing of polictical. Until Ming and Qing dynasties,Hua yang ancient town developed prosperily into a typical twon of southem shaanxi.It has a long history,strong regional culture and distinct features of the spatial and traditional architecture.It has faithful record the local historical,economic and cultural development process.Recently,with the rise of tourism about ancient town,contradictions between development of tourism and protection of ancient town increasingly obvious.Moreover attentions were pay to those problems in academic world,such as how to coordinate protection and tourism development of ancient town and how to found a good relationship about them.On this background,in order to reveal the geographicaland cultural connotation and essence of architecture the author historical usearchitecture and cultural characteristics as the starting point,analysis the status quo,formation and development of existing historical building in Hua yang Systematically.Through introduction the profile and history of Hua yang,factors such as economic,transport,historical,culture ect.,which effect the formation and evolution of the ancient town were analyzed.The town evolution stage was divided by these factors.The development characteristics were summed up at different periods of the town.Then,the survey and assessment of the overall building of the town and typical historical buildings were carried out on the basis of the study of overall situation.The constituent elements of the building with various monomers inter-organizational relationship were analyzed.The study is based on combination of theory and practice,combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis.As the basis of the actual surveying,mapping and on-site research,the perspective of cultural history, function,space,various angles of historical building in Huayang were studied.Its architectural style was more in-depth understand.Finally,combined with the status quo of the town,history,scientific and artistic values of Huayang ancient town were evaluated comprehensive in the thesis.Some recommendations about transformation, planning and development which given by author on Huayang were narrated at finality.
