| Over the years,energy supply has been recognized as a determining factor regarding a country's development.Thus,energy efficient and environment friendly technologies will dominate research and industry communities in the long run.Together with industrial and transportation energy consumption,domestic energy consumption has draw great attention on construction energy efficient properties.Within domestic energy consumption,public domestic energy consumption stands as a key factor which makes it necessary for such a survey and analysis that we are conducting.In this paper we report the result of a survey on energy consumption of 15 public building which is typical in the city of Xi'an.These tests include continuous examination of indoor temperature/humidity during summer,fall and winter.Buildings types of this test include shopping malls,hotels,office building and recreational buildings.We analyze the energy consumption status of these buildings and discuss existing problems;by looking into energy saving potentials we propose practical strategies for energy consumption reduction.Detailed content include:1) Basic information,energy supply structure,air conditioning unit,energy consumption unit and workload of the 15 buildings studied.2) Calculation of energy consumption level for each building with comparison against counterparty in cities like Shanghai,Tianjin, Wuhan and Changsha.A second comparison between buildings of the same type,to pinpoint the key weakness of each building's energy consumption.3) Effect of temperature/humidity on energy consumption across summer,fall and winter.Discuss ways to maximize energy conservation without violation of indoor comfort.This study provides technical support and evaluation for energy conserving building planning,design and operation for the city of Xi'an,it also contributes a sustainable development view in urban planning,as well as proposing energy reduction to relieve heavy energy dependence for our country. |
