Research And Application Of The Resource Database For Watercraft Decoration CAD System

At the present time, in the process of designing watercraft decoration, it may deal with a great number of data, including quoting and maintenance of the data information. Based on this condition, this paper puts forwards the following project ---- using engineering database to manage the data which is created during the design process, that is, to build a resource database system of watercraft decoration CAD. In this project, we can harmonize both the basic standard information of the enterprise and also the product structure details into the design effectively, which can manage all kinds of basic date exactly, At the same time, it is also very significant to improve the efficiency of watercraft decoration design and to reach the standardization during design.First, this paper briefly reviewed history of the database project, analyses the watercraft decorative design process and the current application state of CAD system about watercraft decorative design, points out the defects of the current design process, and indicates the importance of using engineering data base to manage the data in the process of designing watercraft decoration.Secondly, the paper analyses the characters of the data and information generated in the process of designing watercraft decoration, then according to the demand for decorative design and combing the actual enterprise application, present the system architecture and functional method.Then, this paper expounds a plan about how to design and construct the fire door database and node database, which are subsystems of the resource database, explodes how to arrange fire door and how to install node, give out an appropriate implementation, evaluate the technical feasibility.Finally, for practice, according to the actual enterprise circumstance, point out the defects of the new system and the relative solution, bring forward some expectations about watercraft decoration design.
