The Empirical Study On The Innovative Design Of The Architectural Firms In Contemporary China

The widely concerned topic on architecture innovative design is ardently discussded in architecture field in recent years. The architectural firms are the new-born forces for Chinese architects, whose theories and practices reflect the level of the architecture innovation in China.On the basis of the excellent public works of the architectural firms in contemporary China, through the empirical study, the article analyze the innovative design of the architectural firms from two aspects: the space morphology, the visual morphology, and induce several mainstream tendencies of the innovative design in architectural firms. The innovation of the space morphology include narrative space, complex space, nature description of construction space, versatile space, psychic space and the modern explanation of the tradional space etc. The innovation of the form morphology include constituion of form, sole-shape, form bionics and folding etc. The innovation of the surface morphology include the tendency of ecologyization, the tendency of medium, variation and construction of the surface etc. And auxiliary proves by the massive architecture examples.From the angle of the architectural firms, the article describes the trend of the present innovative design in China, provides the beneficial help regarding the practice and the fundamental research on the innovative design.
