With the development of morden industrial, the application of servo system becomes more extensive, and its performance requirements keep increasing. Espicially in precision rader and military weapon installations, servo systems should be high speed, high precision, high reliability and anti-jamming. Servo control technology is one of the key technologies that determines the performance of AC servo system, as well as a major part of blockage abroad. Research on that, in particular, the promising permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), is of significant theoretical and practical value.This paper studies on AC servo system with PMSM as the executive component. Compared to the induction motor, PMSM has advantages such as compact structure, light weight, high power density, no rotor heats problem and simpler control system, etc.First of all, this paper introduces the research overview, development trend and control strategies of PMSM servo system. Secondly, the structure of PMSM is studied, and the mathematical model in the three-phase static coordinate system is established. According to the coordinate transformation principle, giving the d-q axis voltage equation, flux linkage equation and so on, which contribute to choose control strategy. Then, the paper discusses the vector-control strategy of PMSM and analyzes the theory of SVPWM. After that the paper presents the principle and design method of fuzzy controller. And this paper introduces the fuzzy PID controller, which combines the advantages of fuzzy control and PID control, realizes the permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control strategy. The simulation results show that the static, dynamic performance and anti-jamming performance of this system have been improved. It makes the system more robust.At last, the paper gives hardware circuits, soft flow, parameter design method and the experimental wave of the PMSM servo system which is designed basing on the control core TMS320F2808. The experimental results indicate that this system has achieved the anticipated target, and can meet the basic requirements of high-performance servo system.
