The construction of rural road has developed ripidly in recent years.With the continuously increasing of the traffic,the pavement performance of the rural road is decreasing rapidly.Nowdays,China's road maintenance department more rely on the experience of engineers in rural road's maintenance.At the same time as a result of the lack of maintenance funds,resulting in most of rural roads to take "seasonal conservation",even abandoned.This article systematically studied on the maintainance decisions of the rural road.After a great deal of research in the field of disease data,traffic data and deflection data,a comprehensive evaluation of the rural road pavement performance evaluation is been adopted;in the course of the study of the pavement performance predictions,the parameters of the typical pavement performance equation is been modified to make it more suitable for the actual situation of the rural road. Combinating of gray theory and Markov theory to predict the pavement performance of asphalt pavement and cement concrete pavement.Two maintainance decision trees for the asphalt pavement and the cement concrete pavement are been given for project-level maintainance decisions.At the same time researched sorting method and multi-objective 0-1 linear programming model on the network-level maintainance decisions,used the genetic algorithm to solve this model.Finally optimized the allocation of the maintainance funds,and the rural road implementation of preventive maintainance of the best timing and best practices were studied.
