Study On The Urban Public Transportaion Dispatch System Oriented By Active Service

With the high speed growth of both social economy and urban population, the demand of urban citizen traveling has been growing. However, the growth rate of city roads could not catch up with the pace of traffic growth, which resulted in frequent severe traffic jam in downtown area. In this situation, development of urban public transportation has been considered as the key point to solve the problem. The fact in our country is that the bus dispatching method is too lag to meet the demands of both passengers and profit of public traffic corporations. Therefore, optimizing and intelligentizing dispatching method is wiser and realistic way.From the point of active services of bus dispatching, this essay studies urban bus dispatching system and focuses on several parts.The bus dispatch strategies of different categories were put forward and the process and function of each strategies were analysed based on the investigation of passengers and bus dispatchers. The prediction methods of both bus stop and bus line passengers' number was studied and the passengers' number were predicts with the gathered practical data.The intelligent bus dispatching system is designed based on the analysis on the user reqirement. The system function and relationship of every module were described. The key technologies used in the system were introduced. The bus dispatch arrangement, the mathematic model to optimize the arrangement were constructed with the theory of genetic algorithm. The disadvantage of traditional dispatch arrangement was evident compared to the results from developed dispatch system.The urban bus dispatching system was programmed with computer program and programmable MapX component. The main function module of the system was illustrated.
