Public transport dispatching is the key of public transport management, so enhancing the the level of public transport dispatching management is an important means of improving the service quality of urban public transport and absorbing bus passengers. In the past few years, most bus corporations in our country made their operating plan mainly according to administrators' experience and intuition, which would have a passive effect on the urban transport environment and economic development. The effective path to change current situation is realizing public transport system's convenient, comfort and high efficiency by developing ITS technique.This is why we research in the paper. Firstly, On the observation of bus corporations' management and the operation in China, the paper presents the basic structure of our country's urban public transport intelligent dispatching system and the key technologies are discussed accordingly.The data collection about bus operation is the base of bus dispatching. In chapter 3, the artificially collection methods are concluded, and the application of ITS technologies in data collection are researched.Public Transport Scheduling is the basic work plan of bus corporations. In chapter 4, this paper discusses the model of public transport scheduling including timetables, vehicle scheduling and driver scheduling and the 16th bus line in Chengdu is take for example to analyze in detail.At last, aiming at the bus uneven running interval caused by external environment, the paper studies the dynamic dispatching strategies based on real-time information and puts forward an effective model.
