Design On Signal Collecting & Control System Of Life-span Test-bed Of The Truck's Transmission

What this article introduced is the design on signal collecting & control system of life-span test-bed of the truck's transmission.This signal collecting & control system is a platform for test, which mainly provides the control of speed, torque and load to checkers, and returns the transmission's work status and important data to checkers, for the need of checking or improving products.The signal collecting & control system of test-bed is mainly composed of IPC and PLC. IPC is used to collect, display and analysis test data, which can also take some simple control in auto mode. PLC is the core of control, which can realize control not only in manual mode, but also in auto mode.According to the need of data collection, speed-torque sensors, temperature sensors and related transmitters are used to get speed, torque and temperature signals. An A/D data collector and a pulse/counter card are equipped to converse data. In addition, LCD screen and temperature controller are installed to display those important signals in manual mode.The operation system of IPC is Windows 2000 Server, the software of collecting & control system is developed by Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000, which have realized the collection, display, and treatment of test data. Through the communication of IPC and PLC, the test-bed can also be controlled by IPC in auto mode. The software's interfaces are comfortable, and the operation of which is simple. PLC program is prepared on STEP7-MicroWIN V3.2 Programming Software.This signal collecting & control system of test-bed follows the development trend, new software and new methods are used in it. That will have a positive impact and significance to the promotion of our country's research on test-bed of the truck's transmission, and the enhancement of our country's high-power transmission quality and performance.
