Traffic Safety Research Of Non-signal Intersection In City Road

The traffic safety has been an important aspect of research in the field since the behavior of traffic appears. The progress and development of vehicle brings about the convenience of living and economic and urban development, but the traffic accident caused by it has brought disaster to humankind, especially in the non-signal intersection frequently.This paper is about no-signal intersection traffic safety study for the city road. As a result of many classification of intersection, this paper is mainly directed against non-signal intersection and T-shaped intersection of these typical intersections. The paper discusses non-signal intersection's characteristics and classification, considering about the overall transport system, the analysis of safety factors of non-signal intersection nothing more than people, vehicles, roads and environmental aspects. Traffic conflict technology is a method of evaluation on road traffic safety technology. There are many conflict points in the non-signal intersection, and if you can effectively reduce or avoid these conflict points, the improvement will be available. This paper gives non-signal intersection and T-shaped intersection's distribution of traffic conflict points, and gets the risk of several intersections through research of 3 intersections in Beijing district. In the last, improvements include intersection's geometric design, traffic control measures, road safety traffic management and environmental aspects.
