Semi-rigid asphalt pavement because of their high-strength, anti-permanent deformation ability to adapt to the heavy traffic, etc. At present, China has become the highway road surface in the form of the main structure. But also less than satisfactory. Attention and research-based surface treatment process on the surface, reducing water damage and to prevent reflection cracks on the surface quality of service and essential to life.This article from the current reality of China's road construction, fully absorbed in domestic and foreign research results on the basis of theoretical analysis, laboratory test and a large number of engineering practice, on the highway between layers of asphalt pavement layer functions: bonding layer, layer through, under the Formation mechanism layer closure, the role of the choice of materials, construction technology and the amount of a systematic study. The key is to coat thoroughly, seal is the key to bonding.
