As a type of traffic building, the design of shape of the railway station is restricted by more constraints. From the law of historical development, railway station have profound significance of cultural, it is a cultural carrier, which record the urban development with exceptional form.In the new era, the railway stations take on diverse forms in china, which phenomenon is the Starting point of the study. The thesis expands a discussion according to the architecture form. First, study the basis theory of architectural form. Then, give a review of the architectural form of railway stations at different stages in china, and analysis the differences of the architecture form from different angles. Last, give the Conclusion that architectural form is a cast of rational and emotional. In fourth chapter, the thesis discuss the architectural form of railway stations, consist of the choice of the architecture form, the features of architecture form and external interface, then analysis the features of the structure and the inner space which have an important impact on the form, also analysis the relationship between the architecture form and its outer environment of building. Finally, find some problems which need us to think in the form of railway stations, and express the prospect of the form developing.
