High pressure water-jet cleaning system is one of current high-technology both for industry and popular usage. It's a green product with advantage of low cost, high effect, high speed, non-pollution, low intensity of labor and safety. What this peper are trying to study is high-pressure water hydraulic relief & overflow valve which is one of very import component in this system.Below are what's this report studying:1) Introduce the difference between water components and hydraulic components. Make a sketch drawing using static-state design method, based on the old hydraulic components construction. Then re-design the construction of valve core considering the characteristics of water medium and high-pressure, to get a long life-span after reduce cavitations erosion and impulse using the multi-level step.2) Based on flow constant principle and force balance principle, considering liquid compressibility under high-pressure and inside leakage of valve, set up valve mathematical mode during the stage of relief and overflow. And set up valve dynamic-characteristic simulation model before and after improvement. Then do valve performances simulate study. Get a good validation of improvement after comparing simulation result.3)Based on the mathematical model and valve performance request, set up valve optimize mathematical model. Then do valve performances optimize calculation study, using genetic algorithm, one of artificial intelligence arithmetic through ga tool in Matlab. Analysis the study result, find out good parameter solution, which will be the theory foundation for final design.Last, validate theory analysis data through test study of this high-pressure water hydraulic relief & overflow valve performance. From the comparison between analysis result and test result, we can see the dynamic curve of test keep same regular as theory simulation dynamic curve. And it can be a good reference for future valve design.
