The Determination Of Rational Size And Simulation For The Container Terminal

With the growing of global economy,the international trade have become more frequently, container transport has become an indispensable nodes of the logistics supply chain. gate system as the part of Container transport system,, also plays an important role. Because the gate is the entrance for the container.Through the gate,the container can entre into the yard and working areas.So the gate operation efficiency is directly influences the efficiency of the whole container port operations.This article first reviews the domestic and international container transportation system research, and described the theory of discrete event modeling methods, and also refersto some domestic and foreign logistics simulation software and modeling.Then,it inroduces the container gate system-related operations process and the corresponding evaluation indicators. Analyzes the theory of queuing theory and methods at the same time. Through collecting and analyzing the relevant data from the research, simulation model indicatiors are obtained by calculating,and the queue distribution are determined which the container truck reach the gates.In order to prepare for the establishment of simulation model.Then, based on the container gate system operations and process,setting the simulation model goals, used the Witness simulation software to establish the gate simulation models of the Y Port, and through simulation results it turns out that under the allocation of resources in the existing terminal, the gate-channel equipments are reasonable or not. Through changing the parameters of the relevant elements of setting and the observations to determine the optimal program,optimize the simulation models.Finally, conclude the the results which are analyzed, analyze shortcomings of the paper and make recommendations accordingly.
