In this paper, on the background of National 863 Project-"Information Interoperability Technology for Distributed Transport System" (2007AA11E226) and State Science And Technology Support Project-"The research and development on the key technology and equipment of TubeRail traffic organization and operational control" (2008BAG11B01), the demand of design and development on TubeRail Traffic Integrated Protection and Control System(IPCS) were taken as the starting point, the idea of interoperation was brought in the design and development of information systems., the interoperation was taken as the main line, on the base of analysis on the demand of Interconnection among subsystems, by the research on interoperation framework, model and key technology, guidance and technology support were supplied for the operational protection and Integrated monitoring of TubeRail traffic, which has theoretical and practical meanings to a certain degree.Firstly, the subsystems of IPCS were been analyzed for finding the problems of the interconnection, and the idea that interoperability was the key point for solving the problem was presented.Secondly, aiming at the features of IPCS, the interoperation framework was researched on the base of importing the interoperation platform, by which the criterion and guidance for the realization of interoperation on the aspects of standards, key technology, cooperation mechanism and so on. Deeper research had been done in the parts of cooperation mechanism, metadata standard or so, basing on the work of interoperation framework.Finally, in this paper, the opening interoperation model was constructed by which the high-performance interconnection services that distributive, heterogeneous and local self-controlling was supported, and the research of semantic analysis and data mapping algorithm were focused on, for providing effective technology and theory support on the realization of IPCS interoperation.The research results mentioned above had been applied in the TubeRail test base, which had a fine effect.
