GIS Based Systematic Research On Traffic Impact Analysis Of CNG Filling Station

As urban living environment being polluted day by day, especially the exhaust from automobiles, people pay more attention to the environmental problem.To use cleaner fuels is one of the solutions in order to reduce pollution. The use of CNG vehicles can reduce the air pollution. To make CNG vehicles have a fast development, the scientific planning and development of the corresponding infrastructure—research on CNG filling station which is one of the current subject may play a role on it.In order to study the impact of construction of CNG filling station on urban traffic, this paper has a systematic research on traffic impact analysis(TIA) of urban CNG filling station, and also introduces traffic impact analysis theory and practice of home and abroad and the present situation of the construction of CNG filling station.In order to study the role of GIS in TIA of CNG fueling station, this paper introduces the theory and practice of the TIA,CNG fueling station construction, and the systematic research on the TIA of CNG fueling station abroad and home.The paper also proposes the TIA of CNG fueling station should be based on the layout of CNG fueling station in the whole city.The TIA of CNG fueling station itself is location of micro level.Considering the restriction condition and the relevant regulations and rules and using GIS technique to solve scientific layout of CNG fueling station construction is location from a macroscopic angle. A combination of the both is more scientific and accurate.Secondly,the paper puts forward index system of theTIA of CNG fueling station, analyzes evaluation indexes of the TIA of CNG fueling station and evaluates the position of CNG fueling station in local is reasonable or not.It also puts forward improvement countermeasures on intersection traffic modification, traffic organization design, parking facilities planning etc.Finally, the future plan of CNG fueling station construction and traffic impact analysis technology development were prospected.This paper will be helpful to the planning administrative departments to determine the optimal building area of CNG fueling station in the whole city, to make the right decisions of CNG fueling station construction in strategic level.Then the administrative departments propose reasonable opinion combined the first location with single-point TIA.
