In recent years,with the rapid development of the economy of China, the energy issues becomes the most important key issue that affecting the national economy to sustainable development. Need for optimal allocation of power resources, the pace of building the modern automated system for the Power Information is also accelerating more and more quicker. It is not only needs advanced equipments which are high-capacity,high-parameters and low-consume,but also needs all kinds of power load management terminal and customer-oriented data processing platform for measurement and control of power system, the wireless power load management terminal is came into being in this background. With rapid technological development of modern communication, electronics and embedded technology, it provide the technological support for new electric power load management terminals, real-time data platform development and customer technical support system. Power load management terminal can be effective, real-time monitoring the status of electrical equipment and be able to provide comprehensive, real electrical equipment status information. to It provides strong guarantee for our country safe operation of power facilities.This electric power load management terminal use the advanced techniques at the present stage of advanced control,that is based on Atmel's AT91SAM9260 chip 32-bit ARM core as the system design. In this paper, it analysis the advantages and disadvantages of the system and various models of electricity load management terminal, based on the detailed working principle of the system and composition. AT91SAM9260 analysis that focused on the core principles of embedded systems hardware design, hardware schematic diagram is given; and the article also describes the software development environment to build, gives the liquid crystal display, infra-red meter reading function of the software source code. Achieved a power load management system for data transmission protocol and multi-function watt-hour meter communication protocol in the terminal application. Introduced in detail host computer program development process. Proved by the evidence of practice, the terminal system has real-time data acquisition, infrared meter reading, Dot-matrix LCD module shows that the standard communication protocol to support features.the whole system can be run at any circumstance.It can take well of the data traffic,the transfer stipulations of an agreement,the system alarm,an the query os data.All the prospective function has achieved the target.
