The Design Of Digital Converter Test-Equipment

Digital converter test-equipment is the ground test equipment dedicated for Digital converter. In the process of the launching aircraft, it is used to simulate some status signal to test Digital Converter.The system is attached to the technical areas of ATS.Based on understanding the status and the trends of ATS at home and abroad, Through analyzeing the function of Digital converter, this thesis presents the design program of Digital converter. Test-equipment mainly consists of computer control software and hardware platform.The computer control software is the virtual instrument panel of the system, which completes human-computer interaction and the receiving & sending of data.while the hardware platform system is mainly used for sending the computer words and instruction signal.The system adopt FPGA as the central controller,USB interface for data transmission. By using the design method of module,The system has strong universality and extensity.This thesis introduces circuit and logic-timing design according to the function of module. Besides,This thesis makes analysis against possible problems of electromagnetic compatibility in the circuit board,finally provides the design method of EMC to PCB.The main achievements are as follow:the system combines with standard computer USB communication interface technology,realized the data rapid transfer; depending upon the high program control ability of FPGA and the high flexibility and the ultra strong hardware descriptive power of VHDL, the task about signal sending return memorizing is accomplished,achieved the target that hardware modularization, function software-based and testing process visualization.Through the joint test of Digital converter,it is proved that Test-Equipment can test the performance of the converter and meet the demands required by Telemetry Converter.
