The traditional pump test is conducted by the power consumption, which means using overflow throttling load tested. Testing oil pump pressure generated is directly overflowed by the relief valve, all the energy into heat, so the energy is lost in vain and the pilot system heating oil temperature rise, which will cause the system had to increase the size of the corresponding cooling device and increase business costs. Therefore, such high energy consumption for pump test, hydraulic industry the first priority is how to take effective measures to become energy-saving. At present, the use of the power recovery pump test is conducted with remarkable energy savings. Its advantage not only saves a lot of energy, but also reduces the drag motor capacity, the volume of the entire test system significantly reduced. This article researches on power recovery test system of hydraulic pump as the gear pump for example, the main research work are as follows:(1) The hydraulic pump test system is consumed much energy and we link the current situation of hydraulic pump test system energy conservation method at home and abroad and hydraulic pump test system characteristic itself, so we propose that the hydraulic pump is tested by the way of the power recovery, and determine the main research contents.(2) Based on the principle of power recovery test system of hydraulic pump is proposed to achieve the two necessary conditions for power recovery: first, the displacement of power recovery motor must be less than the displacement of the pump; two, the speed of power recovery motor must be higher than the speed of the electric motor. Based on completing control of clutch, we select clutch which connects the power recovery motor and the electric motor, and solve the problem when the speed of power recovery motor is lower than the speed of electric motor, power recovery motor can not only recover but also is electrical motor load. Based on analyzing the hydraulic motor variable control mode, and the computer-aided testing of hydraulic technology, we ascertain the variable control method of the power recovery motor, which uses electronically controlled variable approaching to motor control. Based on these studies, we design with power recovery pump test stand and the accompanying electrical parts.(3) The power recovery test system of hydraulic pump in the testing process to measure pressure, flow, torque, speed and a series of test parameters in real-time, so we select to various types of sensors which meet the test requirements. Using data acquisition board acquires test datum and achieves the sensor output signal into the standard digital signal which computer can recognizes, and then enters the test datum into computer for dealing with them. Proportional control amplifier is used to amplify electrical signals, achieving the computer automatically loads the proportional relief valve and changes the displacement of the power recovery motor. Solving the electromagnetic interference of the power recovery test system of hydraulic pump, we propose four measures to improve anti-interference ability of the test system.(4) The power recovery test system of hydraulic pump not only in the testing process real-time displays, storages and deals with the test datum, but also protracts the experimental curve in real-time, so we use Visual Basic language to write the power recovery test system of hydraulic pump software program. By adding "driver.bas" module, we realize to operate data acquisition board in the process of the test. According to the functional requirements of this test program, the test program is divided into four modules to design, that is real-time data acquisition modules, display modules, memory modules and control modules.(5) Reading through the detailed standards manual and literature data, develop a test procedure for type testing and test methods, and draw a flow chart of various test as the gear pump as an example, and make the relevant analysis of their performance.Overall, the test system not only is used the method of the power recovery to test pump, but also it has the following characteristics:(1) Its powerful software function optimizes this test system's hardware structure and enhances the system's flexibility, versatility and adaptability of the test system.(2) It promotes the accuracy and the reliability of the test.(3) It realizes the test automation and increases test efficiency.Therefore, the test system improves the hydraulic pump test's accuracy and test efficiency, and eliminates artificial inference as well as ensures the accuracy of test datum. It not only makes significant breakthrough in data analysis, display, transition, store, printing, but also it guarantees that the testing results are able to be output rapidly, intuitively and accurately.
