For clinical microbiology laboratory, the most important task is to detect, isolate and identify (such as:septicemia, bacteremia, etc.) nosogenetic micro-organisms and carry out a set of associated experimentations. For example, a sepsis-related antibiotic susceptibility test is supposed to be implemented, because the appropriate antimicrobial therapy are directly connected with the curative effect of sepsis. The first experiential choice of antimicrobial agent can be impacted by many factors of the immune status, the likely source of infection and suchlike. If the micro-organisms causing sepsis can be highly sensitive to the selected antibacterial agents, that will increase the possibility of cure. Therefore, we should choose the optimal procedures for the rapid detection and separation of pathogens. And furthermore, automatic blood cultivating system is known with many advantages, such as a high specificity, sensitivity, accuracy, rapid and so on.An automatic blood cultivating apparatus is used to check whether the bacteria exist in a microbiological examination for blood sample, it is very important for the bacterial growth and rapid detection of sepsis, bacteremia in the patients blood and is the key to effective clinical treatment. In recent years, with the scientific and technological progress and the development of microbiology, microbiologists and computer experts and engineers have developed an intelligent and automatic blood cultivating apparatus with microprocessor. This automatic blood cultivating apparatus includes cultivating system or constant temperature hatch system, detection system, main controller and peripheral components. In this paper, a microcontroller w77ie58 as the control core, temperature and color sensor as the main peripheral devices, combined with the clock and extended memory, etc, constitute an automatic blood cultivating apparatus hardware system. The system can realize the collection and storage of data. The main advantages of this testing system are visual display, convenient operation and reliability. It will apply to blood cultivating and detection under multi temperature.
