Study On GIS For The Management And Sharing Of Forest Resource Information In Mao'r Mountain

Study on the the management and sharing of forest resource information in maormountain was conducted with tI1e application of GIS and WebGlS, and the GIS and WebGlSof tbrest resource information in maor mountain were built successfully. The GlS of forestresource intbrmation was used in decision-making and can displaying, cartography,dtlaI-comprehensive querying and conditional querying of spatial and attributed data, spatiaIanaIysis, model analysis, dynamic monitoring and data update. The WebGlS of forest resourceinformation was used to release forest resource information and share the function of GIS.Users on the Internet can realize some function of GIS on the forest resource in fOrest farmthrough tIleir browsers, sucn as graphica1 operation, comprehensive querying and conditionalquerying, buffer analysis, map measure, etc. Users can also express their proposals and editthe graphical and attributed data and return these results to webserver so to realize mutualexchange.Traditonal management model of forest resources was changed with the realization ofGIS and WebGIS. The management efficency of forest resources was raised fron theindependent management of graph and data to comprehensive management with GIS as itstools. The sociaIized forestry and managerial decision participated with masses wasaccomplished from the local and closed management to networked and open management offorest resources.Some key technique and principle, such as the conversion of CAD data to GIS data, thecustomization of users' interface with aevnue which is the second development language ofArcVieW tl1e realization method of webGlS, the model analysis in GIS, was e1aborated indetail. A reference and technical basis was provided fOr the building of GIS for forest resourceinfOrmation and the realization of the sharing of forest resource infOrmation.
