| The research on curriculum model of "broad base, flexible module" for crop cultivation speciality of middle vocational education was reported in this paper. Based on the analysis on the common curriculum models at present, such as "double-unit system" of German, CBE of Canada, MES of International Labour Organization, it was found that the "broad base, flexible module" for crop cultivation speciality of middle vocational school was necessary and feasible. Using Mr. Jiang NaiPing's theory for reference, investigating the local employment market, and two years of teaching, practice, the basic paths and models of curriculum exploitation of "broad base, flexible module" for crop cultivation speciality were obtained, the main results were shown as following:1. "Broad base module" can be divided into four parts, such as "politic and culture module", "public module", "tool module" and "vocation module". "Politic and culture module" mainly included moral education, professional ethics education, Chinese, mathematics, chemistry, etc, which can meet the needs of students for entering a higher school. "Public module" mainly included ceremony and propriety, vocation and starting an undertaking, Putonghua, etc, which can meet the needs of student's employment. "Vocational module" mainly included crop cultivation and development, genetics and breeding; agriculture management, agricultural machine, etc, which can meet the needs of student's self-starting an undertaking. "Tool module" mainly included English, computer, etc, which is indispensable for student going into society.2. "Flexible module" consisted of "major subject module" and "assistant subject module". "Major subject Module" mainly included crop cultivation techniques, vegetable cultivation techniques, fruit and forest cultivation techniques, agricultural machine, etc, in which student could make a choice on his will, meeting the needs for entering a higher school and employment. "Assistant subject module" mainly included agricultural product store andprocess, ornamental flower cultivation, edible mushroom, etc, in which students could also make a choice, for the needs to start an undertaking by the student themselves.The curriculum model has been taking in teaching practice in crop cultivation speciality in our school for two years, and got very good results. Enhanced the vigor of the speciality, educational quality was improved, it brought into full play of the students' initiative in study and employment self active. |
