Plantlets were regenerated from in vitro leaves ofAnthurium andraeanum Lind. The research aimed at the formation of callus through analysing basic media, leaf parts, light conditions, plant growth regulators and NH/T concentration. The trial also ascertained the best plant growth regulator during the shoot induction and the best concentration of NAA during the root induction. In addition, the way how to control the bacterial contamination also was studied. The results were as follows:The optimum condition of callus induction was 1/2MS medium with TDZO.lmg/L and NAAO.lmg/L. The callus were induced on light condition of 14 hours one day and achieved 100% induction rate after 47 days using whole leaf. The optimum medium of shoot induction was 1/2MS+KT1.0 mg/L+NAA0.05 mg/L with induction rate of 83.3%, and induction time of 76 days. 28 shoots per callus were got after 240 days. The optimum medium of root induction was l/2MS+NAA0.05mg/L with root induction rate of 100% and average roots of 3.During the trial, we found the bacterial contamination came from internal plant. The antibiotic could but control it's development, and have negative effect on plant regeneration.
