In this paper we studied tissue culture of Anthurium andraeanum Lind. , and established a good tissue culture system; used colchicines liquid to induce polyploid plants;used radiation mutagenesis treatments to induce tetraploid, and studied the genetic variation degree in cell and molecule level.The results were as follows:Firstly, in the cource of tissue culture, the optimum types of explant is petiole;The optimum calli inducement culture medium substrate is MS+2, 4-D0.15 mg/L+BA 1. 5 mg/L;The optimum differentiation culture medium substrate was MS+BA 2. 0 mg/L+NAA 0. 2 mg/L+KT 1. 0 mg/L + 2, 4-D 0. 1 mg/L; the optimum rootage culture medium substrate was MS+NAA 0.5 mg/L.Secondly, in the research of polyploid inducement, the optimum colchicines concentration was 0.05%, and the optimum method was the culture medium together with colchicines liquid for 7 days with an inducing ratio of 40%.Morphological observation showed that the chromosome numbers of diploid Anthurium andraeanum Lind. was 30 (2n = 2 X =30 , X = 15) , while that of tetraploid plants was 60 ( 4n = 4X = 60 , X = 30) .Thirdly, in the research of 60Co gamma ray irradiation, the gamma ray restrain the growth and differentiation capacity of calli, the higher the dose of gamma ray used, the wider the restrain effects of plants was; The optimum dose of 60Co gamma ray on Anthurium andraeanum Lind. was 1.5 Gy, the lethiferous dose was 2.5 Gy;Through the cytology examine, found aberrance chromosome such as crokernel, bridge, fragement and lag chromosome.
