In this paper the varieties of Pingyin Rose have been studied systematically in classification, which are done with morphological taxonomy, palynology, numerical taxanomy and isozyme analysis. The purposes of the study are to establish a set of scientic classification system of Pingyin Rose, and to discuss the kindred relationship of them. On the base of it, author has established the discriminated model, which provided convenience for discrimination and forecast to the cultivars through the computer. Then Pingyin Rose Management Information System has been established. On the other hand, in order to conserve germplasm resource, and enhance the propagation quotiety, the paper has studied the tissue culture to the variety of 'R.rugosa Purple Branch',so that can probe into directions for the tissue culture ,then lay the foundations of other varieties'axenic system. First, 37 morphological indexes were chose and coded. The principal component analysis considered that the flower character is the first criterion in the cultivar taxonomy of Pingyin Rose. The leaf character is the second criterion .On the base of it , Numerical taxonomy first did R-cluster analysis. In the result ,we can see that characters of flower ,leaf and so on, have been chosen correctly. Among the characters, the two group of characters were significantly correlated ,one is petaliform stamen , length of stamen , and the ratio of length,width of anther;the other is length of stipule and the ratio of length,width of stipule.So we can choose the easily testabiled character from the two groups.This can not only save the load very in the future, but also avoid the fussy and repeated data analysis in a sense. While through Q-cluster of morphological analysis,and based on the "dual classification system", take specific resources as the first category, the flower diameter, flower color, the second , branch color and thorn, the third. the introduction classification system was founded as: 3 branches, 5 subgroups and 10 types. The cultivars can be grouped into 3 clusters : 'meigui'type , 'qiangwei'type and 'yueji'type , integrating their parents. The cluster analysis of the polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of Peroxidase showed that there appeared 7 enzymatic strips in the 20 cultivars. They centralized 3 zones: PA zone included 2 enzymatic strips,PB zone included 3 strips,while PC zone included 2.According to represented frequency of enzymatic strips we can see PC2 is the diagnostic strip.
