| In this paper, We studied the biological characters and characters description about wild lilies, including Lilium davidii Duchartre, Lilium concolor Salisb, Lilium tenuifolium, Lilium henryi Baker, Lilium tigrinum Thub., Lilium brownii F.E.Brown ex Miellez, Lilium leucanthum Baker and five ecotypes in L. brownii, four ecotypes in L. tigrinum, and five ecotypes in L. leucanthum, which all collected from Qin-ba Mountain and its adjacent area. The main results are as follows: The phenology of these species, such as bud period, flower bud period, initial bloom period, was distinct among these seven wild lilies species. It indicated that these lilies in Qin-ba Mountain and its adjacent area had very abundant gene resource, which will be great value to breed. The growth dynamic simulation among different wild lilies species'and different ecotypes of the same species were showed that one dimensional linear regression model was very good to simulate their fast growth curves. Regression coefficient b reflects the growth potential of different species or different ecotypes and it can be a quantity index of the growth potential power of wild lilies. Different wild lilies species have morphology diversity about bulb, stem, blade and flower organs etc.. There were also morphology diversity of different ecotypes in L.brownii and L.leucanthum. We found a yellow flower ecological type in L.leucanthum for the first time. The rich biological diversity of wild lilies will be important for breeding and abundant garden plant species. Through principal component analysis and cluster analysis to the 68 characters, it indicated that the main characters groups which affected lilies classify are as follows: the first is flower comprehensive characters, including flower shape, scent, posture, inner petal shape, inner petal width, ovary lenth, style width, pedicel lenth, nectary color. The second is leaf comprehensive characters, including leaf shape, leaf shape variation, petiole, young leaf color, leaf margin color. The third is germplasm characters, including stem lenth, stem diameter, stem rigidity, scale color, capsule erect diameter, seed shape and budding period. The last is appendix characters, including stem papillae, axil papillae. The analysis results also indicated that petiole, pedicel lenth, scale color, stem papillae and anther lenth were important class characters of wild lilies. The 25 characters choosed by principal component analysis and cluster analysis can reflect the difference objectively among different species, and divide these lilies into two groups. The morphology and phenological characters were described combination with ornament and garden's needs. |
