The Effects Of Nitrogen Fertilizer And Organic Manure On Production And Quality In The Chinese Cabbage

To get high profits, excessive fertilizers were employed, resulting in decline of vegetable quality,high nitrate accumulation,environment deterioration, which jeopardized human survival and health. Chinese cabbage, as a very important vegetable, is severely affected. In this article, mixed employment of N fertilizer and organic manure were used to study nitrate accumulation,and offer reliable measures to control nitrate accumulation and improve the quality.1 when employed with N fertilizer, with the increase of N fertilizer, Chinese cabbage production firstly increased and then decrease, reached peak at 300 kg/hm2. with the increase of N fertilizer, Vc content,soluble sugar showed a increase-decrease trend, while total acidity showed a decrease-increase trend. One week before fertilizer employment when Chinese cabbage enter lotus area, nitrate accumulation somewhat decreased. After N fertilizer employment, nitrate content improved obviously. Though nitrate enzyme still at a high level, nitrate absorbing caused by excessive N fertilizer exceeded that transformed by nitrate enzyme, much nitrate were accumulated. With Chinese cabbage mature, nitrate content decreased gradually.The right amount of nitrogen fertilizer, not only could raise the cabbage yield, the formation of the dialogue vegetables quality, but also had the aggressive factor. With the increment of the nitrogen fertilizer dosage, result in big cabbage vitamin C, the soluble sugar and coarse fiber contents lowered obviously, the acidity increment, the quality was inferior to turn the severity.2 With the increase of organic manure employment, Chinese cabbage production increased. With the increase of manure, nitrate accumulation decreased, nitrate enzyme increased. Organic manure employment increased Vc content,reductive sugar and coarse fiber, and decreased total acidity.
