The effect of environmental stresses on plant growth is one of important fields focused on by scientists. Nowadays, the effect of environmental factors on the growth of plants has become one of the hottest topics in plant physiology and biological physics. It had been found that environmental stresses could have positive or negative influences on plant growth. The plant, Gynostemma pentaphyllum (Thunb.)Makino is one kind of perennial herb liane, which belongs to Cucurbitaceae, and the leaves of the caulis is green, hairless or has a short fluff, bisexual and different stub. G. pentaphyllum is a kind of famous Chinese herbal raw medicine material. The structure of its' GPS is the same with Ginseng's. Furthermore, it has flavolaids content, abundant amino acids, little chemical element, sugar and vitamin C etc. It has great medicinal function as regulating blood pressure, reducing fat in the blood, suppressing the tumor cell propagate, promoting immunity, urging the function that the cell develops ego to cure. It can also improve nerve system function, anti-ulcerate, suppress gallstone formation, regulate an endocrine activity etc.Aim at the restriction that G. pentaphyllum's great deal of need and the shortage of its wild resources etc at home and abroad market currently, with the valid composition content, and for the purpose of further exploring the influence of stress on the growth of cells theoretically and finding a new way to breed and improve new plant varieties in application, this paper, explored the changes of ultrasonic treatment on the caudex and leaf of the G. pentaphyllum. We primarily discussed the mechanism at the cellular and the molecular level respectively to explore the disciplinarian of the physiological and biochemical characters and the secondary production accumulation under the ultrasound to clarify its growing mechanism, the study has important and far-reaching meaning on the control of its growth, improvement of its growth quantity and the bettering of its economic performance. The results are as followed:1. The protective enzymes of G. pentaphyllum were explored when it treated by ultrasonic with a certain power (600W) and frequency (40kHz). The results demonstrated that the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) , peroxides (POD)...
