Schisandra Chinensis(Turcz.)Baill., a northern native drug, is a frequently used herb. In recent years the requirement from the home and aboard is increasing year after year, which lead to the shortage of the resouse. At present, there is much research about plants’endophytes. It is reported that some plants’endophytes can produce the active metabolites which have the antimicrobial functions. So they have many utilizing potential. The research on endophytic bacteria and their activity metabolites of Schisandra Chinensis(Turcz.)Baill. is to carried out relief the shortage of Schisandra Chinensis(Turcz.)Baill. .In this work, Schisandra Chinensis(Turcz.)Baill. wild plants were choosed as reseach objects, and 46 endophytic bacterias were isolated from the fruits, rhizomes and leaves of these plants by tissue isolating method. All the isolated endophytic bacteria’s metabolites were screened on antimicrobial activity against 12 strains instruction bacteria and fungi by filter paper method, such as Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans. and so on. It was showed that most of the endophytic bacterias had the antimicrobial activity against at least 1 strain. Some of them had the antimicrobial activity against all the 12 strains.Ten strains which have higher antimicrobial activity were screened. Their bioactivity metabolites were extracted and isolated. The antimicrobial activity of the compositions was tested to screen the target strains. WF17, WF21, WF28 whose compositions had antimicrobial activity were screened as the target strains. The target strains’active metabolites were detected by HPLC. It was showed that the composition WF17b’s active compound was similar with protocatechuic acid, one active material of Schisandra Chinensis(Turcz.)Baill..The target strains were identified by morphology observation, the test directions in physiology and biochemistry and 16S rDNA sequence analysis. It was showed that WF17, WF21 were identified as Bacillus subtilis. And it was showed that WF28 was identified as Stenotrophomonas rhizophila. The research on endophytic bacteria of Schisandra Chinensis(Turcz.)Baill.for developing and utilizing the resources of Schisandra Chinensis(Turcz.)Baill.and its endophytic bacteria was conducted for the first time. The target strains which contain higher antimicrobial activity had been screened by antimicrobial activity test. The strain which can product similar activity metabolites to Schisandra Chinensis(Turcz.)Baill. has been found by the extraction, isolation and HPLC test of its metabolite. It provides a new way for further development and utilization of Schisandra Chinensis(Turcz.)Baill. resource. It is significant to protect the ecological environment.
