Research objective:In order to Prove,efficacy of Chinese Herba in feeding carp,select out practical herbal formula, the sdudies were researched using simple feeding experiment of the effect of orange peel on promotive growth and enhanced grass ctenopharyngodon idellus fingerlings and immune function.Research methods:Selecting a health, lively, specific of the larvae of grass carp Ctenopharyngodon idellus we can stock the fishes in the small cage which was installed in laboratory of cement pool. The fishes,were randomly assigned to five different groups, and each group contained 40 fishes, the size of cage is the 100 cm x 80 cm x 70 cm..The resource of water derived from, groundwater, The water were untreated,and were exchanged water every two days. The water were, dissolved oxygen greater than 5mg/L,.During the experimental period,,the temperature of pool water was keeping between 23 and 29℃, pH 6.8 or so. Domestic fishes which were tested 7d were put into the tank,then we could start the formal experiment. The fishes were feeded amount 3%-5% of body weight in twice daily feeding (8:30, 16:00). After the experiment, the test demonstrated that herbal feed additive can promote growth and immune function.Research results:The experiment that traditional additive replaced the additive of Chinese herb medicine shows an significant superiority. The Relative Growth Rate became as highest as 310.07% when the alliumsatizrum/citrus compound dosing percentage was 0.3%. And the Specific Growth Rate became as highest as 2.51 when the alliumsatizrum/citrus compound dosing percentage was 0.4%. The Hepatosomatic Index, Intraperitoneal Fat Ratio and Viscus Ration were significantly decreaded when dosing 0.1%. The Rate of immune protection was significantly increased by adding the alliumsatizrum/citrus compound. These results all indicated the feasibility and advantage of adding alliumsatizrum/citrus compound as feed additives on Ctenopharyngodon idellus...
