| The study on cultivated land and basic farmland and its protection is based on the materials regarding actual situation of Jishou city. With macro analysis, microscopic quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis and other analysis methods applied to, this paper probes into the research of cultivated land and basic farmland protection, which is the country's long-term strategic decision on cultivated land and basic farmland's development. Protection of Cultivated land and basic farmland plays an important role in China economy development. Below are the achievements of my research.First of all,based on research background, the research advances of cultivated land and basic farmland protection, this paper expounds the meaning and purpose of cultivated land and basic farmland protection at home and abroad and the research background of dynamic, research contents, research methods and ideas, technical route.Secondly,current situation of cultivated land and basic farmland in Jishou was analyzd in land use,dynamic change and benefits.The third,the study of cultivated land demand forecasting under the conditions of food safety and economic development and ecological safety conditionsis JiShou, comparing the two kinds of methods, that by 2020 the prediction results of cultivated land was concluded.Lastly, authors put forward to protecting adjusting measures of the cultivated land and the basic farmland according to specific situation of Jishou.
