The studies on regeneration of medicinal plant A. coreanum on solid medium were first reported in thispaper. The three systems of micropropagation of A. coreanum were established. The plantlets were obtained by shoot tip culture, callus culture and anther culture. The optical sterilization condition, and other basic condition for the induction and growth of adventitious shoots were examined. 6-BA wasmost suitable for the growth of shoots in the concentration of 2-5mg/L and the increasing rate was 5.5±0.45. MS was the opticalmedium for the induction of adventitious shoots, Bs for the growth of the shoots. GA could enhance the growth of adventitious shoots. Adenine could increase the growth rate of adventitious shoots. IBA was the best plant growth regulator in root formation for all shoots from different pathway. The orthogonal design of phytohormones was used to determine influence to the induction of callus. The following position of exogenous hormones indicated by induction index was obtained: 6-BA > 2,4-D > NAA > KT. The optical combination of phytohormones was 6-BA and 2,4-D. The embryo callus was selected and these could grow to be plantlets on MS culture medium supplied with 6-BA2mg/L+NAA0.2 mg/L.In the anther culture, the effects of physical and chemical factors on the...
