| Chinese jujube is an endemic fruit tree in China and it has more than 3000 cultivation history. In the meanwhile, it is an economic tree species for farmer to add income and realize wealth via poverty-alleviation in remote and backland area just because of such advantages as strong resistance, wide adaptation, easy growth and early income. Chinese jujube has rich resources in China and it produced many fine varieties used for fresh food, dry product and processing during the course of long-term cultivation, domestication and selection breeding. However, any variety has the problem of ecological adaptation. The adaptation of variety includes the adapting ability to climate and soil condition and the expressing ability of variety's resistance, yield and quality. In order to find out the variety resources of Chinese jujube in Gansu province and accelerate its industrial development, the conditions of resources, cultivation & management and fruit process of Chinese jujube were investigated roundly in its main growth area of Gansu province; the introduction was made of Chinese jujube variety from home and its cultivation trial was also conducted in semi-arid area of Gansu province; and its fine varieties have been selected adapting to cultivate in this area through the characters of growth and bearing rate of every introduced Chinese jujube varieties.There are very rich resources and has many fine local varieties of Chinese jujube in Gansu Province owing to its long and narrow topography and diverse climate types. Through author and other professor's field survey and inquiry to technician and farmer, preliminarily investigated the resources of Chinese jujube in Gansu province and summarized the characters of more than 20 main Chinese jujube varieties and their most fitting cultivation area; Introduced 39 Chinese jujube varieties from home and made their cultivation trial in Gansu semi-arid area, and observed & recoded the growth character of each variety in detail. Through analysis and comparison, pointed out the varieties adapting to cultivate in Jingyuan county of Gansu semi-arid area. Among them, the varieties used for fresh food can select Jin'ai NO.3, Fengmiguan, and Nianhuadongzao and so on. The ones for both fresh food and dry product can select Ningxiazao, Xiaokouzao of Jingyuan, Junzao, Jinzao, Shankang NO.1, Dazao of Mingshan, etc. The ones for dry product can select Jinsi NO.4, Linzexiaozao, Xiaozao of Minqin, Yuanzao of Jingyuan etc. Combination with introduction trial put forward some constructive suggestions on development of Chinese jujube in Jingyuan County. Through deploying correlative trial and referring to other people'research result, summarized and put forwards the technical regulations on cultivation of Chinese jujube in Gansu province. Also, brought out the cultivation techniques of different cultivation model of Chinese jujube, namely the constructive techniques of Chinese jujube densely planted garden, the intercropping techniques of crop and Chinese jujube and the cultivation techniques of ecological garden of Chinese jujube. In addition to those, the paper summarized and described the variety selection, constructive site and cultivation techniques of various Chinese jujube gardens. Through investigation and analysis on crop and Chinese jujube intercropping in Chinese jujube's main growth area at home and abroad, summarized the optimal model of crop and jujube intercropping which is fitting the practical condition of Gansu province, put forward the principles of row collocation, jujube variety selection and intercrop selection of crop and jujube intercropping and the different intercrop varieties in different area of Gansu province, and the wheat, rape and legume were regarded as the optimal crop of crop and Chinese jujube intercropping. |
