The scope of study covers epidemiology, pathogeny separating and appraisement, medicine sensitivity, prevention and cure on the goats which live in Wuling mountainous area, So as to provides a scientific method that prevent and cure the goat infective pneumonia effectively in Wuling mountainous area.The epidemic situation of goats have been infected pneumonia of Wuling mountainous area has been studied by methods of the clinical investigation, the pathology examination and serology inspection. The results shows that with Y-98 as the standard antigen and HIMA as examination method, there are 22 goats which are the positive reaction in total 1982 goats. The positive reaction rate is 1.1%. With PG3 as standard antigen, and HIMA as examination method, there are 105 goats which are the positive reaction. The positive reaction rate is 5.3%. Five goat varieties have been investigated. The result shows that the Pohl goat has the lawest infection rate of 5.8%. The Nanjiang color goat has the lawer infection rate of 7.7%, The rate of the local white goat is 8.1%. The rate of the Chendu hemp goat is 8.4% and the rate of the black goat is 8.8%. Age investigation shows that the order of positive reaction rate of different varieties which are 5 months old, is as following: the Pohl goat<the Nanjiang color goat<the black goat<the local white goat<the Chendu hemp goat, however 12 months old, the order is: the Pohl goat<the Nanjiang color goat<the Chendu hemp goat<the local white goat<the black goat. The order of Adult goats is the Pohl goat<the Chendu hemp goat<the Nanjiang color goat<the local white goat<the black goat.28 samples that gathered from 28 goats with respiratory disease symptom Come from 6 goat nurseries which belong to Qianjiang of Chongqing city, Enshi and Lichuan of Hubei province, Jishou and Yongshun of Hunan Guizhou Province Jiang Qu; Hubei Province's Enshi, advantage Sichuan; Hunan province and Tongren of Guizhou province are analyzed by isolation culture, microscope examination, cultivation in ordinary culture medium, bolting, cultivation in rabbit blood culture medium, biochemistry distinction experiment and comparison to standard strain. It can be sure that the goats have the goat infectious peripneumonia which caused by M. mycoides var caprine PG3. The bacteria which obtained by separation cultivation Have been identified by biochemistry and serology assessment. it could be sure that the bacteria is as the same serotype as the standard M. mycoides var caprine PG3. The animal infection duplication tests shows that the bacteria has the high pathogenicity to the goat.solo and union medicine sensitivity function to PG3 has also been tested in the experiment. there are 8 kinds of medicine which contain ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, danfloxacin, erythromycin, roxithromycin, tylosin, taimulin, tetracycline have been tested. The results show that PG3 is most sensitive to erythromycin and taimulin and The medium sensitive are roxithromycin and tylosin. The lowest sensitive medicine are tetracycline and quinolones. the results show that the best cure medicines to goat infective pneumonia are erythromycin and taimulin, roxithromycin and tylosin also can be used. But tetracycline and quinolones shouldn,t be used to cure the disease. The union medicine sensitivity function to PG3 shows that if erythromycin and ofloxacin are used together, they can promote each other's function. So they can be used as cure medicine. But if erythromycin and tylosin are used together, they could not promote each other's function. So it is nonsense to use them to cure the disease.The results of the experiment of prevention and cure to goat infectious peripneumonia in Wuling mountainous area Show that taimulin and erythromycin have the best function to cure goat infectious peripneumonia. But ciprofloxacin and tetracycline have no function. 4 kinds of medicine have been tested in cure and increasing weight experiment on two groups: natural case and artifical case. The results show that, the group of ciprofloxacin and the group of tetracycline show difference remarkable and obviously increasing the weight comparing to the control group, the group of tylosin and roxithromycin show the most remarkable difference and most obviously increasing the weight.
