The Research Of Immunity Function Change And Chinese-Western Medicine Prevention And Treatment In Dog Infected By Demodex

32 healthy dogs of four-month-old by immunizated were divided into four groups:the health group the Chinese - Western medicine treatment group,Chinese medicine treatment group and the Western medicine treatment group,health and infection groups were bred separatly.Skin of natural infected dogs were shaved to inoculate dogs of experiment,observing the infection complexion.Choose 6 dogs from each group for formal experiment.Temperature,respiration,pulse,clinical manifestations were observed at 5d,10d,15d,20d, 25d,30d,35d,40d in the course of inoculation,at the same time,Blood examination, lymphocyte transformation and lymphocytes cycle,immunoglobulin were checked.At the 20^th day of inoculation.Deal with experiment dogs in three ways:embrocat "Fu-man-mie"(once/2d, continue for 20 days),inject Iivermectin(0.2 mg/kg body weight,once/5d,continue for 20 days),using Fu-man-mie and Ivermectin combination therapy.Observe the effection respectively.The results show that:1.Dogs of artificial infection have the clinical manifestations of erythema,papules,scars, losing hair,itching and other symptoms at the 5^thday inoculation.Infection rate amounts to 83.33%(20/24dogs) at the 10^thday inoculation.But during the 20 days of inoculation temperature,pulse and respiratory rate are in normal fluctuation,the spirit and diet of infection dogs is fine.Except for obvious skin change,we have not seen other abnormal clinical symptoms.There are some pathological changes in the organization such as the parasitic mite Demodex in skin or hair follicles,cell soakage,hyperaemia,edema,hair follicles keratoma around hair follicles.2.In infection groups,dogs' hemoglobin erythrocyte and platelet have decreased,the number of leukocytes significantly increased(P＜0.05 or 0.01) 5～10days after infection,and then reduced.3.Infection dogs'lymphocyte transformation OD value have gradually decreased,so the cellular immune function reduced.In the initial infection period,G₀/G₁ was increased,PI value reduced,immunocompetence was restrainted;later stage of infection,G₀/G₁ reduced,PI value increased,immunocompetence increased in certain extent.4.The changes of IgG,lgM,IgA in dogs infected by Demodex mite were similar.There is a small fluctuations in IgG,IgM,IgA levels in infection groups and control group,so humoral immune function were not influenced by Demodex infection.5.Ivermectin were used 0.2 mg/kg body weight through subcutaneous injection per 5d, continue for 20d.Self-made Chinese medicine "Fu-man-mie" were used through inunction per 2d,continue for 20d.Combining treatment of these two therapeusis were used to anothor group.After 20^thday,The cure rate was 100%,83.33%and 50%respectively in the Chinese-Western medicine treatment group,Chinese medicine treatment group and western medicine treatment group.The total effective rate was 100%,100%,83.33%respectively.At 30^thday,the recurrence rates were 0%,0%and 33.33%respectively.6.By using Ivermectin and " Fu-man-mie " combination therapy,the increasing of Red blood cells and platelet and hemoglobin,the improving of blood lymphocyte transformation, and increasing of IgG,IgM,IgA level were slightly better than that Chinese medicine treatment group and obviously advantage than that in medicine treatment group.At the same time,G₀/G₁ was reduced and PI value was increased in Chinese-Western medicine treatment group,so mmunocompetence of dogs was increased.
