Water is such an important natural resource that human can not live and develop without it, so using water resource reasonable has important meaning. However due to the restriction of economy condition and human realized level, exploiting of economizing water irrigation automatic control system is in the initial stages, and most of irrigation area also depends on the traditional irrigation method. The utilization of irrigation water resource is in a low level, and the phenomenon of wasting is extremely severity. Therefore automatic managing of agriculture irrigation becomes an important studying direction.Aiming at this situation, do much research and analysis in Gansu province Zhangye city Yingke penstock irrigation system, and according to its special demand, designing a new automatic control system of water conservancy irrigation, which combines the technologies such as computer, sensor, data acquiring, intelligent control and WLAN. This paper investigates some important and difficult problems which are data acquisition and processing, control algorithm, wireless wideband communication and so on and compiles managing software of monitor centre depending on configuration software. To ensure the stability and the reliability of the system, the effective anti-jam measures about the hardware and software are adopted.In this paper, we research on the water level control in depth which is the key question in the irrigation automatic control system. The water level control system has the characteristics of nonlinearity, time-variation, and uncertainty. Because the fuzzy control dose not require to build the controlled object's precise math model and the PID control has very high precision, we put forward a kind of PID parameter fuzzy self-adjusting algorithm, which combines the PID control and the fuzzy control. The practice shows that the algorithm has the characteristics of smaller overshoot, better stability and faster response rate. It can overcome the difficulties that in tradition the penstock water level control completely depended on the operator's experiences, expending more time and energy, and the adjusting results were not very accurate.At present, this system has been applied in Gansu province Zhangye city Yingke penstock irrigation system and realizes long-distant monitor, memory and management to water level information and distributing water resource reasonable, and obtains economy and society benefit all right.
