| Changde is an important town,and one of economically advanced regions in Northwestern Hunan,and has a very strict requirement for environmental quality.In recent years,she has greatly improved in the Garden Design and the Construction Level of Management,and also has owned lots of laurels,such as:National Garden City,International Garden City,and the best environmental city for people to live. Now,Changde is marching towards eco-city construction,and set a still higher demand on landscape construction.When selecting trees,the plant's diversity,system stability,local adaptability, ecological effects,and artistry and humanity characteristics must be considered,for trees is the major resource for landscaping.Because native tree species have strong adaptability and are easy to manage and use continuously,and this has significance to improving quality and benefit in urban greening,it is very important to research on the choosing and application of native tree species.Cinnamomum.camphora(L.)presl is a kind of broad-leaved evergreen arbor,it is highly adaptive for development,and has developed root system,big crown and a few fallen leaves.It is tolerance to pruning and transplantation,and resistant to plant diseases and insect pests and sterile soil.It is a dominant species,and also a greening tree species.Cinnamomum.camphora(L.)presl is a kind of high practical application ornamental tree,and really native tree species,and could be as street tree,shade tree and specimen trees.Therefore,it is selected as the city tree in Changde in 1995.In this thesis,based on the complete survey of history and present situation of cultivation and application of Cinnamomum.camphora(L.)presl,and combined with the trend of ecological garden construction and the development of environmental landscape at home and abroad and the recognition on the need of trees for development of urban greening,it analyzed the application and problems of Cinnamomum.camphora(L.)presl,and re-evaluated its value from appreciation effect, ecological benefit,life,stress resistance,and application cost in the means of field investigation,experts consultation and evaluation,and satisfaction of public.The results indicate that as a national trees,Cinnamomum.camphora(L.)presl is highly adaptive and growing fast,it is not only a high comprehensive benefit landscaping tree species,but also a feasible special varieties in the southern city,thus,existing Cinnamomum.camphora(L.)presl should be protected and managed in Changde.The thesis also gives some suggestion about the deficiency of practical application of Cinnamomum.camphora(L.)presl:building diversified site environment to improve its growth status,reasonably planning seedling area,and strengthen the guiding of seeding plan to establishment perfect and scientific tending standard,establishing professional plant protection network information platform to strengthen the controlling the insect pests,and establishing city greening tree species resource information system.This study gave instructive opinions to the production,application and administration of Cinnamomum.camphora(L.)presl,and it could provide technology and theory support for the application scheme and urban planning projects of construction ecological garden city.Meanwhile,this thesis could be also on the guiding role of urban landscaping and environment construction in other similar ecological environment of Cinnamomum.camphora(L.)presl in the future. |
