The Prefecture of Liangshan in Sichuan—typical region of Sichuan-Yunnan plateau was selected as the research object, combined with the research of local natural economy conditions,the resources of water conditions and the the law of tobacco crop water requirement, hope to find the water-saving irrigation model for the mountain area, to establish the technical model of sustainable and efficient use of regional water resources , including the resources for water development and utilization, transmission and distribution of water, the technology of field water-saving and optimal allocation of the water monitoring, established the suitable rainwater harvesting and water-saving irrigation techniques for mountain hills and mountains of southwest Sichuan Province. The study promoted the development of water-saving irrigation technology of Tobacco production, increased Production level of high-quality tobacco, obtained the best Economic benefits and eco-environmental benefits.1 In this study,the tabacco plant aera was partition by topography,rainfall,runoff and water yield,the water distribution in time and space was determined,LiangShan was devided into 3-small district and 7-big district.Different irrigation model was set in defferent aera. Integrated planning, concentrated and comprehensive treatment.taken river basins as treat unit,bit by bit to make over; adhering to the principle of addressing both symptoms and root causes of corruption and taking comprehensive measures; engineering measures first, facilities project followed.2 136790 strips of hydraulic engineering was completed from 2005 to 2007,water supply condition improved,irrigation aera increased,basic condition improved,tabacco production developed.In past 3 years, irrigation and drainage aera increased from 5.92ten thousand hm2 to 11.33 ten thousand hm2.tobacco plant aera increased from 2.33 ten thousand hm2 to 4.78 ten thousand hm2,tobacco production increased from 11.32 ten thousand T to 5.92 thousand T. 3.91 hundred million economic benefit was created.3,Effects of warter and nitrogen coumpling on technology character,soil moisture,nutrient dynamic variation and tobacco quality is significant.During each growth period,height and waist is increased with irrigation.During rosette stage,height is increased with irrigation and nitrogen application.the effects of warter and nitrogen coumpling on organnic matter accumulation is decreased with plough layer, 60 m3/666.7m2 irrigation and 7kg/666.7m2 nitrogen is significant to dry matter accumulation,accelerrating uper leaves dry matter accumulation.Nitrogen application effects the production with irrigation,total sugar and reducing sugar is decreased with nitrogen increased. Nicotine and pottassium content is increased with nitrogen application.With the increased of nitrogen,pottasissium content increased,is better to tobacco quality.4,Effect of different irrigation model to tobacco growth and quality is something to it. Drip irrigation,spray irrigation,furrow irrigation and hole irrigation'effect to tobacco techenology character:drip irrigation>spray irrigation>furrow irrigation>irrigate,all of these is better to comparison, drip irrigation'effect to tobacco production is significant;all of these 4 irrigation model can increase production,drip irrigation is better in four; all of these 4 irrigation model can decrease tobacco nictione,bitrogen,total sugar and chlorine,increase potassium content, dry irrigation'effect to compatibility is better to others.
