To investigate the main pathogen and effective treatment method of clinical mastitis in Liaocheng city, isolation, identification and drug sensitivity of Bovine Mastitis Pathogen were studied. Effective drugs were selected and used to treat clinical mastitis. The results provide a scientific basis for the intervention, prevention and control of the prevalence of mastitis.Test 1. 110 bacterium were isolated from 115 milk samples selected from 29 cows in 3 different scale dairy farms, including 29 of Streptococcus (25.22%), 26 of Staphylococcus (22.61%), 19 of Enterobacter (15.65%), 18 of Yeast (16.52%), 8 of Corynebacterium (6.96%). Positive rate of pathogen of milk samples is 79.13% and mixed infection rate is 20%. The major pathogens of clinical mastitis in Liaocheng city are Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Enterobacter and Yeast.Test 2. Some Traditional Chinese Medicines were combined according to a certain proportion and decocted for making drug sensitive slips. The drug sensitivity of Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Enterobacter and Yeast isolated in test one to the compound Traditional Chinese Medicine and 13 western medicines were studied. Results show that the drug sensitivity of microorganism isolated from 3 cows farm to the compound Traditional Chinese Medicine and 13 antibiotics are not significant differences. The antibacterial effect of stock solution and 2 fold dilution of compound Traditional Chinese Medicine to Yeast is the highest, inhibition zone more than 20 mm, to Staphylococcus and Streptococcus take the second place, inhibition zone from 15 to 19 mm, to Enterobacter is the poorest, inhibition zone less than 10 mm. Besides to Yeast, there is not obvious antibacterial effect of 4 fold dilution of compound Traditional Chinese Medicine to Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Enterobacter.Staphylococcus is resistance to penicillin, streptomycin and ampicillin. Streptococcus is resistance to penicillin, streptomycin, erythromycin, norfloxacin and tetracycline. Enterobacter is resistance to penicillin, erythromycin, norfloxacin and tetracycline. Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Enterobacter are sensitive to cefotaxime, ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin and amikacin. The results provide a scientific basis for rational drug use to control mastitis.Test 3. According to the drug sensitivity test, compound Traditional Chinese Medicine and ciprofloxacin lactate injection were applied to contrast treatment test to 29 clinical mastitis cows. The results show that effective rate of treatment of compound Traditional Chinese Medicine and ciprofloxacin lactate injection are 80% and 70%, respectively. Inflammatory indices (WBC and LYM) of compound Traditional Chinese Medicine group cows are significant lower than those of ciprofloxacin lactate injection group cows (P<0.05). HGB, MCHC, MPV, PLT, PCT, MCH and MCV of compound Traditional Chinese Medicine group are higher than those of ciprofloxacin lactate injection group. The results indicate that compound Traditional Chinese Medicine is better than ciprofloxacin lactate injection.
