Genetic polymorphism of adipocyte fatty acid-binding protein gene's intron 1 in 226 pigs including Sanjiang White pig, Landrace pig, Large White pig and Northeast Min pig was detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism.Polymorphism fragment of A-FABP gene was cloned and sequenced so as to ascertain variant position of polymorphism locus and mutational base.The correlativity between polymorphism locus and meat quality traits,growth performance and reproductiove performance in pig was analysed with SAS8.1 Analyse GLM, whose objective is that providing foundation of molecular biology for seed selection and selection of meat quality traits in pig.According to detection outcome of PCR-RFLP, In the Bsu36Ⅰlocus, all of four pig species showed all-round polymorphism(DD, Dd and dd). The frequencies of D allele gene in Sanjiang White pig, Landrace pig, Large White pig and Northeast Min pig were 0.69,0.63,0.67,0.8 respectively; In the BsmⅠlocus, the difference of polymorphism was bigger, which the frequencies of B allele gene in Landrace pig, Large White pig were 0.76 and 0.78 respectively, while the frequencies of B allele gene in Sanjiang White pig and Northeast Min pig were only 0.21 and 0.29. The results of cloning and sequencing indicated: Bsu36Ⅰpolymorphism of intron 1 dued to base mutation of C→G in position 4624; BsmⅠpolymorphism of intron 1 dued to base mutation of C→G in position 5006.The result of polymorphism and growth performance and reproductive performance correlation showed, all of Bsu36Ⅰand BsmⅠpolymorphism had sigficantly effect for daily gain in SLandrace pig and Large White pig(P﹤0.05), while all of Bsu36Ⅰand BsmⅠpolymorphism had sigficantly effect for live litter size in Sanjiang White pig and Northeast Min pig(P﹤0.05), The highest genotypic combination for daily gain in Landrace pig and Large White pig was"Dd-BB"and"dd-BB", the mean value of least squares being 584.578 and 595.469. The highest genotypic combination for live litter size in Sanjiang White pig and and Northeast Min pig was"DD-Bb", the mean value of least squares being 12.963 and 13.701.The result of polymorphism and meat quality correlation showed, all of Bsu36Ⅰand BsmⅠpolymorphism had sigficantly effect for IMF in Sanjiang White pig, Landrace pig, Large White pig and Northeast Min pig(P﹤0.05), which the polymorphism of Bsu36Ⅰhad significantly effect for drop water and shear force for Sanjiang White pig and Northeast Min pig (P﹤0.05)and which the polymorphism of had significantly effect for drop water in Landrace pig, drop water and shear force in Large White pig, drop water and shear force in Sanjiang White pig and drop water in Northeast Min pig(P﹤0.05). The highest genotypic combination for IMF content in Sanjiang White pig, Landrace pig, Large White pig and Northeast Min pig successively was"DD - BB","DD - BB","dd - bb"and"dd - bb", the mean value of least squares being1.766, 1.968, 3.968 and 4.195 respectely.In conclusion, enhancing best genotype combination frequency can enhance IMF content of 4 pigs, so as to be up to improve meat quality. Meanwhile enhancing genotype combination have no negative effect for growth and reproductive performance, adversely can also enhance growth and reproductive performance of individual pigs.
