In the livestock production, it has important practical significance that understanding the physical behavior of livestock breeding, in this way we can make the perfect feeding regime, improve the animal's productivity and save the cost of the livestock production. All of the environment factors that includes internal and external of the body can affect the animal's physiological behavior. The research of the animal's physiological behavior is very complicated. We study the Layer chicken. Depending on the animal's physiological parameters, we use some equipment to measure the parameters in order to implement the intelligent control. The parameters that we reserach include physiological parameters and enviorment parameters.In the way of traditional testing methods, we take a variety of devices to detect various parameters andthen judge the health of laying hens by the testing data. It makes serious measurement error by manual operating the equipment frequently, and some parameters is difficullty to measure. The frequent manual testing can affect the layer chichen, and make the egg production decrease. So we set up the automatic monitoring system in order to give data support to the objective evaluation of different egg production in different henhouse. And we can improve the environment, reduce the incidence of chickens, raise production levels, reduce energy consumption and feeding costs, improve management efficiency and decision-making levels.Depending on the animal's physiological parameters, we use equipment to automatic detect the following parameters, and it includes the weight change of the layer chichen, the daily excretion change of the layer chichen, the daily intake frequency change of the layer chichen, laying the daily water intake change of the layer chichen, daily egg laying time, real-time temperature changes of the layer chichen. According to these demands, we take the following measures. We use the standard weighing sensor to measure the change of the weight, excretion and the water intake, and use weighing sensor to measure the daily intake frequency change of the layer chichen by the compare the of the food weight in the real time. The other method is that installing the photoelectric switch in the some location of the chichen cage. We use the infrared sensors to detect the body temperature of the layer chichen.Detection of environmental parameters, environmental parameters are the main temperature and humidity in the layer chichen house. Based on the above requires, we adopt the corresponding sensor component to achieve the parameters of the test circuit. At last all parts data of parameters was simple processed by the MCU ATmega16, and then the signal was transported to PC by the the standard RS485 serial communication interface. The data was processed and controlled in real time by the corresponding software that we programming. The system can continuously provide signals input channels.The aim of the article is that we establish a system by using the electronic technology, computer software and hardware technology. The system can monitor physical behavior and environment of the layer chichen house in a real-time, and then we apply the system to the layer chichen house. Through the experiments, we verify the feasibility of the system, the error of the system, and the actual results.
