Forest Management Inventory Information Management Platform Develop Based On ArcObjects

Study on the Forest Management Inventory Information Management Platform develop by using forest instruction map of mao'r mountain as data source. The development in accordance with the methods and requirements of Software Engineering, use Visual C++6.0 as development platform and ArcoObjects,SQL Server 2000,ADO,Crystal Reports as Technical means. The development will well exert the benefit of Forest Resources Information Management System and satisfy the user's needs.Forest management inventory is an integral part of forest resources monitoring system and a basic work of forestry sustainable development. this paper aim to reduce complexity of forest management inventory and improve work efficiency. The study has important significance for forest management inventory information management in high efficiency and quality.GIS application was divided into independent development,simple secondary development and integrated secondary development. Integrated secondary development was welcomed by spatial database management,analyze,visibility and convenience. ArcObjects is advanced technology,reasonable data structure.The study focused on integrated secondary development by using ArcObjects and designed some function on the following(1)User management including add,delete and set right to user.(2)Layer management including add or delete layer, roaming automatically, etc.(3) Attribute data management including add,delete data, data searching, etc.(4) Thematic Map making and decorating include layer Rendering, adding scale, compass, etc. page setup and print.By the Study on forest management inventory information management platform develop, this paper will make the forest resource checking, monitoring, data organizing and forest resources sustainable development Plan making more fast,precise and scientific.
