The Clinical Study On Treating Perimenopausal Syndrome With Shugengning

ABSTRACT ABSTRACT Menopause is a course that every woman has to experience in her life.Perimenopausal Syndrome(PMS) is a high-mobidity common disease.It is a group of syndrome that is caused by the fluctuative decrease of the woman抯 estrogen level in her menopausal period. This syndrome抯 main peculiarity is vegetative nerve functional disturbance, and psychonosema or psychologic disturbance is accompanied.This article elaborates systematically the pathogeny and therapy?development of this disease from both sides of modern medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. In order to seek an cutherapeutic drug that has few side effect, we adopted the method of nourishing kidney-yin to treat 30 patients(the drug is Shugeng ning) and selected 30 patients as control group(the drug is Gengniankang iablet ).We observed their clinical symptoms, measured endocrine hormone level and I lymphocyte subsets both before and after treatment. The result proved that Shugengning could obviously relieve their symptoms, increase E1, reduce FSH and its effect was prior to the control group. It could also regulate the immune function of their bodies. According to this, we considered that Shugengning 憇 curative effect was obtained through adjusting HPOA, also through improving bodies抜mmune function probably. This clinical study applied advanced detective technology, chose specific indexes and then evaluated objectively the curative effect of the drug, discussed its function as well.It turned out that nourishing kidney-yin was an effective method of treating PMS.This study provided a basis for treating MS by Chinese drugs.
