Study On Expression Of BFGF And TGF-β₁ In Human Breast Carcinoma

Objective: To study the complex expression of bFGF , TGF 3 i and MVD in human breast carcinoma and discuss their relationship. Observe the clinic significance and correlation between TGF P i and metastasis of lymphocyte, so that it can give an scientific standard to judge prognosis, and it can give some direction to clinic medicine.Methods: 40 human breast carcinoma tissue were studied as malignant tumor model, 20 human breast fibroma tissue were studied as benign tumor model, expression of bFGF and TGF P in breast neoplasm were observed by immunohistochemistry staining .MVD is observed by anti-F ?VIRAG staining. Counting MVD is according to Weindner[34]and Maeda^,we statistic the numbers of microvascular from 5 sights and find the average, which is the MVD, The positive immunohistochemical stain of bFGF and TGF P i is that higher 5% cells are observed buffy granules in their cytoplasm.Results: (1) the positive cell rate in breast carcinoma is 65% and 57.5%in each of bFGF x TGF P i and they are 30% and 35% in breast fibroma, it is higher in breast carcinoma than that in breast fibroma.(p<0.05 )(2)the MVD of 26 cases of bFGF positive is 51.1 ?14.7, and the 14 cases of negitive is 34.1 ?.9, so there is important statistic significance (P<0.01)as well as in 23 cases of positive expressed TGF P i, 53.5 ?1.5 and 32.5 ?10.1 . (3) there are 23 cases of lymphocyte metastasis in 40cases carcinoma, 17cases no metastasis. 15/23(65.22%) TGF P ,(+),!0/17 (58.82%) TGF P ,(+),it still has no statistic significance between them (P>0.05 ) . Conclusions:1. The positive expression of bFGF and TGF 3 (is low in benign breast tumor, while it is high in breast carcinoma.2. In breast carcinoma group, the positive expression of bFGF and TGF ^ i is higher than that of negative expression cases.3. High level of MVD and the positive expression of bFGF and TGF 3 i, which can be treated as one of the prognosis indexes of breast carcinoma, have a lot of clinic significance.
