Alzheimer's disease is one kind of degenereratly neuropathic diease, it seriously damages the aging health. But there aren't effective medicines to be sure on treating Alzheimer's disease generally modern medicine. Compound Chinese medicinal isn't the name of Alzheimer's disease, but there are plenty of records in traditional. Chinese medicine such as syndromes and treaded experience. Based on the theory or researched achievements and the experiences in traditional Chinese medicine, we expound two viewpoints:first, kidney's deficiency is an insternal mechanism of forming senile dementia and second, phlegm is the important factor of causing senile dementia.This experiment take rats of which IBO was injected into the hippocampus as the model animals, and take hydergine group as an opposite group, then we carry out an comprehensive research on the DR group concerning the behavioral science, the pathological change and biochemical change of AchE and ATP estarase. The result proved the effects of DR: 1 .It could improve the behavioral function of the AD rats. 2.It could decrease the brain AchE levels. 3.The activity Na+K+-ATP esterase, Ca2+-ATP esterase were improved. 4.It could improve the pathological change in the AD rats' brain. This research concludes that the DR is one kind of effective medicine which can prevent the AD.
